I asked for a double room with ensuite and was told that it was confirmed. When I checked in, I found to my surprise that it wasn't an ensuite and wasn't a double room. That was extremely disappointing.

They didn't even provide the room with towels!! The smell was too bad and they had a party in their bar til midnight with very poor singers performance. Also dozens of people remained til 4:00 am barking under my window so I couldn't sleep at all!!! I didn't wait one second and I got the first train out of hell.

Cheap and convienient
I have to say the owner was probably the most ignorant person i have ever met in my life. Tryed to engage conversation on a couple of occassions and he totaly blanked us!!!!!!!!!!! The Girl behind the Bar was very helpful though.

Reasonable price, kettle in the room, good breakfast.
Very noisy in the night. People that have a shop on the opposite side of the road shouted up to 3 am.

The free parking available is a nice touch, especially with limited spots. The location offers a quaint vibe, revealing local life beyond the usual tourist trail.
The shared bathrooms feel a bit crowded for privacy, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Sticky floors and unkempt facilities are a turn-off. Foot traffic from the pub below can be noisy, not to mention the smell of smoke that drifts in from the shared bathroom. The fridge in the room sounds like it's ready for takeoff, hardly ideal for a good night's rest. Breakfast options feel lackluster, with cheap, overcooked items and subpar cleanliness in the dining area. If you're considering this as a cozy getaway, it might be worth reevaluating the budget and look elsewhere.

Well... The fact that it is also a bar location... This hotel gave me the opportunity to me very interesting people I have made a friend at this hotel..... I would like to thank you for this....
Ar first it was the fact that I had a hard time finiding it.... Since I did not drive there I had to use underground and buses or train facility.... But when I understood how the network worked.... I would definitely go back there.... Because of the friendly staff and where it is situated.... To have a relaxing place to stay... Thank you again. My name is Cecile Beland and I am from Canada the province of Quebec

Shared bathrooms could definitely use better maintenance!!! The towels felt more like abrasive rags, not comfortable at all for drying off.
